Our updated MHCC website aims to bring more community members in to hear the Word of God proclaimed and to expand our ability to disciple those that are already here. That is why we have two website sections:
- Our Front Porch helps visitors get to know us. If you haven't visited there, stop by.
- Our Family Room is where we build community together. Take a look around. We're glad you're here.
The Front Porch
Our Front Porch has been designed for outreach. It's streamlined and tailored to people who are searching - either for a church home or for answers to life's biggest questions. So what can you find on the Front Porch?
- Our beliefs, values, mission, and partnerships
- What a new visitor can expect on Sunday morning + directions
- A place where people can get to know the leadership team
- The ministries we offer and ways to plug in and serve
- Featured sermons that give an introduction to the preaching
Because it was built with new folks in mind, you can share the site via social media, text message, email, etc., and those folks can easily get to know our church family.
The Family Room
The Family Room is intended to be your single resource for any information pertaining to the day-to-day life of the church. That includes things like:
- Listening to a past sermon or Sunday School lesson (Listen)
- Important church announcements (Know)
- Steps toward getting connected (Connect)
- Sign-ups for ministry teams (Serve)
- Giving to Mercy Hill (Give)
- Sign-ups for classes and events (Register)
We believe this new platform will help to facilitate all that is happening here at the church and can grow with us over time.
We hope this new structure will achieve two goals: reach more people in our area for Christ and serve you, our members, so that technology aids church life and doesn't get in the way.
